Creative Direction & Design
For the last 15 years I have been helping companies create valuable customer experiences through graphic design and interactive experiences. Most of my experience has been in San Francisco and Silicon Valley. I have provided design solutions for agencies with big brand clients, for high-tech companies, and for small startups (some of whom have made it big).

Interests & Motivations
When I’m not doing work-for-hire I’m usually trying to tire out my border collie on hikes, working on being a vegetarian, blogging about San Francisco, scheming my next vegetable garden, reducing my carbon footprint, finding my new favorite restaurants (in my new town of Vancouver BC), and hopefully planning new art projects.

I am especially interested in design projects in the following areas:
• sustainability
• community supported agriculture
• alternative/renewable energy
• animal rights, rescue & care
• eco-friendly products

Elseware: Social Media, Art & Budcozy
Complimenting my work as a Creative Director, I run a couple blogs and Twitter accounts. I’ve found these experiences have helped me become a better designer and story teller, and have given me a deeper understanding of the Social Media Ecosystem.

Since graduating from art school I’ve dedicated a little time for fine art projects over the years, but I’m still hoping to find a way to do more. Art is a constant reminder that it takes time to perfect ones skill and patience to reach the “zone”.

Budcozy is my side project to rid the world of tangled earbuds and headphones. I created the concept and solution, and hand-craft the product using sustainable and up-cycled materials. Budcozy lives on in my spare time.
